Configuration: Image Database Configuration
Controls and Displays
The Configurator displays the following
information about an image database file:

Configuration (CF)
Table – Exists or Does Not Exist will be
displayed in this field, representing the status of the
file.

Last Modified
– Date of the last activity in the
Configurator file

Name –
The complete name of the Configurator file
-
Index (SC) Table
– Exists or Does Not Exist will be displayed in this
field representing the status of the file.

Last Modified
– Date of the last activity in the index
file
-
Name –
The complete name of the index file
-
File Size – The amount of storage the image database file
occupies
-
Description
- Name of selected database
-
Index Entries
– The number of index entry fields used in the image
database
- DSN File-
The complete name of the DSN file.
- Server Name- The
complete name of the SQL Server.
- Database- Name of
the SQL Server database.
Command buttons are used to enter the sections of
vMedia to create or modify an image database.

[New Database] – Creates new databases.
-
[Global Settings] – Designates the general
setup and configuration options which affect the database as a
whole.

[Local Settings] - Settings that apply to
the current computer
-
[Index Field Editor] – Creates and defines
index fields.
-
[Close] – Exits the Configurator and
returns to the Master Control window.
