Device Cache
Overview
Device cache provides temporary storage for scanned
images. It is designed to speed up the scan process. Zero to six
images can be temporarily stored during scanning.
Procedure to Activate the Device Cache

On the Image Control window, select the
image database and click [Scanning Module].

On the Scanning Module main window, click
[Image Control].

The Scanner Image Control dialog box opens.
Click [Advanced Scanner Features].

Click the Device Cache check box and select
the desired amount from the drop-down list. The check box is marked
to indicate activation of Device Cache.
