Vertican Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important. Vertican takes privacy issues very seriously and wants to make sure our customers know exactly what personal information we collect and crucial efforts we take to safeguard information. Please read the policy carefully. By accessing or using this Website you are deemed to agree to the terms of this privacy policy, and if you do not agree with it, then you must not send us any personal information.

Our guiding principles
Vertican is committed to providing the best possible user experience for our customers and visitors. We collect your information to better communicate with you and, if you download, beta, or purchase our software, to maximize your benefit from your use of our products. Your personal information will not be given to any third party without your consent, except to our business partners with whom we have established agreements that protect your privacy under limited circumstances.

The scope of this policy
This policy covers all customer and visitor information collected by Vertican Technologies, Inc. and its subsidiaries, and/or through the Vertican Websites vertican.com, qlaw.biz, imagemaster.org, youvegotclaims.com, ygcsolutions.com, and collectionsoftware.com (the “Websites”). It applies only to personal data and not other types of business or general information. Our site is designed for use by businesses and you should not submit information if you are not a business or if you are under 18. Finally, for any current customer, any client lists or other files provided to Vertican electronically are covered by your master agreement, and not this privacy policy.

Information we collect
Vertican collects personal information when you register with the Websites, request a beta or additional information, license the services, or otherwise voluntarily provide such information. Our servers may record when you visit the Websites, basic operating issues (IP address, time, browser used), properties you visit, and information you request/download.

How we use customer information
We may use personal information to provide the services you've requested and related services and goods. We also use personal information for auditing, research and analysis to operate and improve our services. When we use third parties to assist us in processing your account such that they may have access to your personal information, we require that they comply with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures. We may also share information with third parties in limited circumstances, including when complying with legal process, communicating about related services, preventing fraud or imminent harm, and ensuring the security of our network and services. We may combine personal information collected from you with information from our affiliates to provide a more comprehensive user experience. If you no longer wish to receive communications from us, please follow the “unsubscribe” instructions provided in any of those communications.

Sharing information
By using our Websites, we have entered into a business relationship, but not an agency agreement and you agree that you have provided Vertican with true and complete information in your dealings with us, including, but not limited to, your registration, beta and/or license request. Your information also may be gathered and placed in a secure data bank for future reference or application. In addition, Vertican and its affiliates and business partners have your permission to use this information to contact you or your affiliates via e-mail, postal mail and by telephone if the need should arise.

Updates
This policy may update from time to time, so please review it often.

Cookies and site trackers
We also use “cookies” or “site trackers” to collect information and improve our Services. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer or device. We often use “persistent cookies” to save your registration ID and login password for future logins to our Websites. We may use “session ID cookies” to enable certain features of our Websites, to better understand how you interact with the Websites and for our own monitoring. A “site tracker” is a device that can track what information on your site a user has seen, and a little related data. You can instruct your browser, by changing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the Websites you visit. If you do not accept cookies, however, you may not be able to use all aspects of the Websites. The same is true for site trackers.

Managing your information
Any user of our Websites can see a copy of the information Vertican has collected from the Websites about that person and can fix any errors in that information. To see that information, contact us and provide us any information we seek to confirm your identity and make clear what you are looking to review and any proof of any information you need corrected. Similarly, if you want to be removed from our electronic email lists, you can always contact us at marketing@vertican.com.
