Bar Codes: End of Document Setup

Overview

This page examines how to configure and use bar codes for end of document recognition.

How to Configure

  1. Start Image-Master, select the desired database, and select [Scanning Module].
  2. From the main scanning screen, select [Image Control], [Advanced Scanner Features].
  3. Select [End of Document Setup].
  4. Place a checkmark in the All bar codes on the first page option.

How to Use

  1. Ensure that all filing bar codes appear on the first page and that non-participating bar codes that might be recognized while scanning are partially obscured.
  2. From the main scanning screen, select [Scan].
  3. Place any combination of documents into the document feeder, properly coded as required in step (1).
  4. Place a checkmark in the Fully Automated Scanning option.
  5. Press [OK] to start the scanning process.
