Document Length Error (1000 Maximum)

Overview

The Image-Master maximum document page length of 1000 pages is now physically enforced by the scanning subsystem. If scanning will cause the document page length to exceed 1000 pages, a warning message will appear.

Details

  • If scanning will cause the document page length to exceed 1000 pages, the following warning message will be displayed after all the pages have been scanned:

  • This warning dialog box is displayed prior to the Save Scan Set / Discard Scan Set dialog box in the scanning sequence. The composition of the resulting un-filed scan set is determined by whether the scan set is Saved or Discarded.

    • If the scan set is Saved, the document length will be limited to 999 pages. All pages scanned beyond page 999 in the scan set will be discarded. Caution! The point in the scan set at which pages have been discarded needs to be determined by the scanning operator. The discarded pages must be re-scanned into a different document in order to be saved within Image-Master.

    • If the scan set is Discarded, the document length will revert to the length prior to the scan set being scanned (which may be less than 999 pages) and all of the pages in the current scan set will be discarded.
