Preset List: Sorting an Internal List

Overview
The “Sort” list item feature permits sorting the entire
list.
Procedure
- From the Index Field Editor dialog in the Configuration
Module, select the desired database field to delete.
- Click on the [Selected Field Options] button.
NOTE: Verify that the
correct field has been selected before proceeding.
- Click on the Preset list / Drop down list configuration
label to open the List Control interface.
- Click on the [Internal List] radio button if it is not
already selected.
- Click on the [Edit List] button.
- Click on the [Sort] button to open the Sort Order dialog
window.
- Select Ascending or Descending and click
[OK].
- Ascending - Punctuation (!”#$%&’()*+,-./) followed by
Numeric (0,9) followed by Uppercase letters (A-Z) followed by
Lowercase letters (a-z)
- Descending - Lowercase letters (a-z) followed by Uppercase
letters (A-Z) followed by Punctuation (!”#$%&’()*+,-./).
- Click on [OK] to immediately sort the list.
