Server Security Setup The Security Access Module is reserved for future use. Refer to your Vertican License Manager ("VLM") for tier-level assignments. The Vertican License Manager is typically installed in the managed product's installation folder with a file name of LicenseManager.exe. In the case where multiple managed products are installed, the VLM can either be installed in its own separate folder (preferred) or within one or more of the managed product's installation folder(s). License Managers are not product specific. Regardless of its location, LicenseManager.exe can be run to manage the various aspects of the product. Local administrator and valid portal login will be granted access to the VLM. If an invalid portal login is attempted, an error message will be received and access to VLM will not be granted. The use of a portal login that uses a v# that is different from the v# that was used to establish the license is considered an invalid login.
